Although Vuestamp mounts have been manufactured by Astron Industries since 1968, when these mounts were originally invented, Astron did not own this product until 1989. During that year Mr. Collin Brand who owned the marketing and distribution company, Vuestamp International, decided to retire from the industry and offered the product line for sale. As Astron Industries have been manufacturing Vuestamps for some 33 years, it was an attractive opportunity for Astron to include the Vuestamp range as part of their expansion program. The acquisition provided Astron with the challenge to not only further improve the product, but to furnish Australian rubber stamp manufacturers with an approved level of service previously unknown by the industry. With the introduction of new storage facilities, stock handling, packaging and computerised order picking, it was possible to not only process customer orders more efficiently and accurately, but in most cases, provide same day turnaround. As a major supplier to the rubber stamp industry, Astron Industries has also included in its range of stamp related products, materials and mounts from other countries as well as those that are Australian made. The push for excellence continues, as the international market is pursued with the same dilligence that made Astron Industries the largest leading manufacterer of rubber stamp mounts in Australia. |
