High Resolution Water Based Contact Film System JMP Daylight Safe Negative Film is a high resolution contact film that has proven to be a "life saver" for many manufacturers. For manufacturers using this system darkrooms and expensive process cameras are a thing of the past. Also gone are the expensive chemicals and the need to carefully prepare solutions to a strict formula. The JMP Daylight Safe system consists of Daylight Film and Negative Developer. The daylight film is characterized by a high degree of blackness and high base-film transparency. In addition, the system avoids using hazardous chemicals that would otherwise have been used while producing a negative. Processing JMP Daylight Safe Negative Film is done in 3 easy steps: 1. Expose the film to UV light through a printed vellum. 2. Spray the film with the special developer. 3. Wait one or two minutes; wipe and allow to and dry.

LEM Platemaking Vellum LEM Plate Making Vellum is a very transparent vellum that produces excellent toner opacity in your laser printer or photocopier. When you expose negative film, ultra-violet passes light through the vellum. The area directly under the clear area on the vellum is cured. The toner (your artwork) blocks the UV light and leaves that area on the negative film uncured. The high degree of transparency, excellent toner opacity and the lack of visible fibers in the LEM Plate Making Vellum provide a negative film with a very high degree of accuracy. |
